How did you meet?

We met on eHarmony. Kayla was just about ready to delete the app when Victor snuck into her messages at the perfect time. All it took was a reference to a 2000's rom-com, and Kayla was intrigued. The rest, as they say, is history!

What first attracted you to each other?

Kayla: Victor made me laugh right away, and I was hooked.

Victor: Kayla's sassiness... and maybe her profile picture, too.

What is your favorite memory together?

Kayla: Our first trip to Florida with my family. We got to explore a new place together, and it made me excited for all the future adventures we would share. Of course, getting engaged in Cancun is definitely at the top of the list, too!

Victor: Taking our boys, Archer and Luffy, for a walk on the beach along the Oregon Coast. It was one of those simple, perfect moments that felt like us.

What is your favorite way of spending time together?

Our favorite thing is spending time with Archer and Luffy. Whether we're taking them for walks, exploring a new park, or heading out on an adventure, being together as a family and enjoying the outdoors is always the best.

How did you get engaged?

Victor proposed on the beach in Cancun, making one of our favorite places even more special. Afterward, we celebrated with a road trip through Valladolid and Campeche before ending the trip with a few relaxing days at the very resort where we'll be getting married.

Why did you decide on a destination wedding?

We loved the idea of turning our wedding into a full weekend celebration with the people we love most. Instead of just a few hours together, we'll get to relax, laugh, and make memories with everyone in a beautiful tropical setting. It also feels extra meaningful because Cancun is Victor's hometown and holds such a special place in our hearts.
